Why I Started,
For years, I have served as a helpful role model to those seeking inspiration into becoming one's true self. In 2022, I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started writing about my passions, my thoughts, and curious wonders about the world we live in day to day. I founded A taste of Life, with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, and it has been a crazy wild success ever since. I finally started my blog in 2022, a year I became vulnerable and willing to share.

My name is Maliyah, I am 26 years old from Alabama. Just a girl living in a big world, join me here where the masks come off and you get the real where struggles turn into success. I am a Troy Alumna with a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences. Graduating in December with my degree in Medical Lab Technology, I'm super excited cause it's been a LONGGG journey. Recently starting 2 MLT positions at the top hospitals in Alabama, talk about a BLESSING. Keep your faith and you will always excel and not fail.
Just a little background on me, I am the eldest of 4 children, daughter of Matthew and Tameika. My "siblings" are Marissa, Mj and Mallore, I used the quotations because those are really my kids, they just birthed them. I am very family oriented get with it or get lost.
Personality wise I think I'm a pretty decent person very misunderstood and misjudged, many will never experience me on an elevated level ha-ha you missed out. Remember before you speak on my character, GOD made me in his image.
